Hello
Hey everyone, this is Patrick the II (2nd). Paddymike’s son. Leonard just informed me of this blog the other day and I decided to check it out… great idea, by the way. This is what its all about, family keeping in touch, (even though I probably wouldn’t recognize hardly any of y’all, because its been so long that I’ve seen any of my extended family). I really would like to catch up on a lot of things; and let you all know a little something about my wife Jenny and our two beautiful kiddos (Callie 3, and Caiden 20 months) as well as myself, I guess.
We live in the very large state of Texas as of about one year ago, in a little town north of Fort Worth, called Haslet. My lovely bride stays home with our children and I work on a natural gas drilling rig, drilling in what is called the Barnett Shale. We are members of First Baptist Church of Euless, which is about 30 minutes south-east of Haslet. We are getting along fairly well in Texas, it sure is a big change from Michigan, I can tell you that. The people here are really nice and we are meeting really great couples in our Sunday School class at church. Jenny is involved with a new ministry at our church called TEEN MOPS, and she loves it. She is teaching VBS this week so she sort of has double duty, because TEEN MOPS is every Wednseday night. She is also the women’t event coordinator for our Sunday School class. Jen’s got quite a bit on her plate lately, and yet she continues to amaze me at how she is able to juggle all these things, and still be an awesome godly mother to Callie and Caiden. As you can see I am very proud of my wife.
Callie is our three year old little girl who loves to swim at the pool in our subdivision. She is doing really good at swimming with her little floaties on her arms, she is even getting to the point where she can swim a short distance with out them. She is really in to Cinderella, and dressing up, and dancing, and just looking pretty. She is a really good big sis’ to lil’ Caiden. And she loves Jesus. I think that is amazing.
Caiden is our little monster who isn’t afraid of anything. At 20 months old, he is the most fearless little terror on the planet LOL. It’s kind of scary at times because he likes to jump in the pool by himself, he doesn’t want mom or dad’s help, he’s a “BIG BOY”. He is always throwing something, doesn’t matter what it is… and he unfortunately has a fascination with shoes, Callie’s shoes!! That makes for some good sibling rivalry LOL. I love my family so much, and I hope this little glimpse into our lives gives you a good idea why.
Well Phillipsfam, that’s all for now, hope it wasn’t too long and boring. I’d love to tell you more, but I gotta get going. I need to find out how to post pics, can anyone help me with that? ’preciate it.
Serving Him, -Patrick

Great hearing from you, Pat. I sure did enjoy the little time I got to spend with you guys in Texas. I would agree with your assessment of Jenny. She is someone to be proud of. You have a wonderful family. I am very proud of you.

Hey Stranger!!! Missed you and Jenny at Geoff’s wedding. The “cousin” table wasn’t the same without you guys (had to kick Uncle Kevin out after a bit because he just wasn’t cool enough to hang!) JK. So glad to hear you all are doing well. Congrats to Jenny on being what sounds like an amazing supermom!!! Not an easy task to accomplish. Give my love to your wife and those beautiful children of yours!
