Up and Running

First of all, congratulations to Geoff and Beth! What a beautiful wedding! What a fun time! Thanks also Marie & Ken for the great time and your wonderful hospitality. It is such a joy to get together with all of you.
Well, Marie, the new matriarch of the clan, has suggested a family blog. As the compliant child in the family it falls my lot to get it going. This is it. You who are reading this (assuming that you are members in good standing in the family) may email me at kphillips1772@kc.rr.com for log-in information so that you may post to this spot as well. And by “the family” (hereinafter “the fam”) we mean the progeny of Orion Henry and Mary Elaine Phillips and those related to them. That includes people with last names like Shull and Harding and Scott and Roberton and Brest and even Parmin. Yes, we have adopted cousin Donna and her clan. She, and they, are officially part of the fam. I will leave it to others to decide whether this includes her Yorkies as well. But speaking for myself, it is a delight to add her ebullient spirit to our otherwise staid and stoic group.

This will be our virtual family gathering. Here we do not have to wait until someone marries or dies to get together. Post here pictures and plans and thoughts and the events and moments that make up your life. Come here often. Let’s keep one another posted.
